September 4, 1954 – October 3, 2024
Marsha L. Clark (nee Lahiff), age 70 and a longtime resident of Lorain, passed away at Mercy Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 3, 2024 after a two year illness.
Marsha was born in Elyria on September 4, 1954 to the late David A. and Clare A. (nee Kaiser) Lahiff. She was a 1972 graduate of Elyria High School and also graduated from Lorain County Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. After graduating college, Marsha was employed for eleven years in the Sprenger Retirement System within Lorain County. For a number of years Marsha babysat her grandchildren to help her children. She then went on to work at Giant Eagle, first at the Meister Road store in Lorain and then retired from the Avon Lake store in 2017. Marsha was a animal lover, enjoyed bowling and traveling to bowling tournaments, and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most important to Marsha was her family which she loved spending time with throughout the year and especially at holidays.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years Charles W. Clark Sr., sons Gary (Tabitha) Taborn of Cleveland and Michael Taborn of Georgia, step-sons Greg Clark of Florida and Charles Clark Jr. (Billie Jo) of Kentucky, step-daughter Michelle Richards of Florida, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters; Teresa Aldridge (Ronald deceased) of Elyria, Dorothy (Russell) Noyes of Oklahoma, Clare (Tom) Scyoc of Wellington, brother David "Ted" (Karen) Lahiff of Cleveland, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her twin brother Mark Lahiff.
Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory and Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 7:30 p.m., with her son Gary Taborn officiating.
