Melissa "Miss" M. (nee Lockhart) Oiler 58, of Amherst, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, following a sudden illness.

She was born September 9, 1967, in Amherst, Ohio to Nick and Linda (nee Cook) Lockhart and has been a resident of Amherst for the past 10 years after moving from Brilliant, Ohio in 2015.

Melissa dedicated 20+ years of her life caring for others as a certified nursing assistant, trading her nurses aide uniform in for her favorite title as wife, mother, and "Namaw".

Melissa enjoyed crafting, swimming, planning family events, and most importantl,y spending quality time with family and friends. Family was the center of her world, making sure everyone came together to celebrate holidays and major milestones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Patrick (Mike) Oiler, her father Nick Lockhart, her 5 children, Danielle Pullin (Luis Luciano), Justin Pullin, Misty Brown (Scott), Megan Ellis (Michael), Michelle Oiler (Keegan Welch), 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1-3 p.m., at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
