Michael Ray Strader, age 73, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

An avid outdoorsman and sports fan, Michael enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and playing pool. He was also a passionate supporter of Ohio State athletics and his local Cleveland sports teams, always cheering them on with great enthusiasm.

He is survived by his brothers, Clifford Strader, Rodney Strader, and Timothy Strader; his sister, Darlene Eppler; his life companion, Erin Hall; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Strader and Glenna Powers, and his brother, David Strader.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the American Legion Post 30, located at 1112 W. Erie Ave, Lorain, OH 44052.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, Lorain.
