Nancy E. Auble (née Skidmore), 75, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 1, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Maxine Dickason and Donnie Skidmore.

Nancy had a love for travel and especially enjoyed cruises, creating many cherished memories. She spent several years living in Georgia and Oregon along the way. She also found joy in watching movies and spending time with those she loved most.

She is survived by her children, Jim Raymond (Stacey), Heather Raymond; her beloved grandchildren, William (Brittany), Morgan (Kevin), Anthony (Kayla), Benjamin, Madison, Casey, Kaidence, Lianna, and Zachary; and her four great-granddaughters, along with her sisters, Donna Lee (John) and Beverly Caraballo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother-in-law, Marty; and her dear friends, Paulette and Mary Ellen.

Nancy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. Nancy’s wishes were for the family to enjoy a big backyard barbecue in her memory.
