Obituary

Orville "Cowboy" Lee Adams, age 71 and a resident of Lorain, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Mercy New Life Hospice after an 18 month illness.

Orville was born September 28, 1953 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Enoch and Elizabeth (nee Carter) Adams.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved fishing, especially at the "Hotwaters" in Lorain.

Survivors include his wife June Sharp-Adams, sons Jarrod Adams of Lorain, Jessie Adams of Lorain, and Josh (Monique) Dotson of Lorain, daughters Angie (Jason) Kirby of Elyria and Jamie (Kevin) Casarez Clark of Lorain, many loving grandchildren, his brother Nick, sisters Linda and Pansy, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Sally Adams (2013), brothers; Eddie, Enoch, and Lionel, and sisters Elizabeth Ann, Diane, Patsy, Jean, and Racine.

Cowboy's Memorial Service will take place at 3 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Bethel Chapel, 4065 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, OH  44052.
