Paul Leonard Bourque, age 81, a resident of Avon Lake, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Paul was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on February 8, 1945. Paul was a graduate of Lorain High School in 1963. He then attended Fenn College. Paul worked at B.F. Goodrich for 29 years and retired in March of 2007.

Paul was a Knight at Knights of Columbus in Lorain, Ohio. Paul loved his Harley Motorcycles, and enjoyed his long weekend trips to West Virginia with his sons and buddies. Paul ran tennis leagues, played in softball leagues with his wife, and enjoyed bowling. Paul loved to snorkel and scuba dive on the many trips he and his wife took to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Caribbean. He and his wife took many trips to several U.S. states and Canada. Paul loved his family and grandchildren more than anything.

Paul is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Deborah (Debi Parsons), of 39 years, and they had been close friends for over 50 years. Sons: Michael (Tina) Bourque of North Ridgeville, Casey Lash of New York; daughters: Carrie Bourque (Danny) Miller of Avon Lake and Katie Bourque (Kenny) Kuhn of Rocky River. Sister, Janine Sas O'Doherty, and so many nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Emily and Eric Reynolds, Bryant Bourque, Abby & Mason Kuhn, and Hannah Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Lenny" and Eva Bourque; his in-laws, Charles and Betty Parsons; his brothers-in-law, Noel P. Parson and Andy Anderson; and triplet grandsons, Braiden, Brody, and Bryce Bourque.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be given to Reserve Care Ames Family Hospice, 29101 Health Campus Dr., Suite 400, Westlake, OH 44145.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
