Pauline M. Akosi (nee Csubak), 77, and a resident of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Kingston of Vermilion.

She was born January 5, 1947 in Lorain to Paul & Mary Csubak (nee Kish) and had resided in Lorain all of her life.

Pauline graduated from Lorain High School. She began her career as an RN at St. Joseph's Hospital and retired from Lorain City Schools where she was the school nurse in various buildings for 20 years.

Pauline enjoyed planting and working outside on her landscaping. She especially enjoyed getting together with family and friends during the holidays. She loved watching any of the Cleveland sports teams and always looked  forward to the Cleveland Browns.

She is survived by her sons Michael (Nicole) Akosi, John (Rebecca) Akosi; sisters Pat Zimmerman, MaryJane Csubak, Debbie (Randy) Kotradi; step-brother Thomas Csubak step-sister Joyce Mintzer; Granddaughter Alaina and many nieces and nephews.

Private Services were held.
