Peggy Jean Marty (nee Trewella), 78, of Amherst, entered hereternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2026, at MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio following a short illness. She was born on February 10, 1947, in Warren, Ohio.

Peggy worked in the healthcare field; where she started out working as an aide at Amherst Manor and graduated from St. Joseph nursing school earning her LPN accreditation while continuing to work and later in life went back to LCCC earning her RN accreditation. She continued to work as an RN until she retired to take care of her parents.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing board games, watching movies, and her family and friends. Anyone that knew her considered her a beautiful woman and a loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Marty, her parents Jack and Lavyonne (nee Cramer) Trewella, and her son, Bill Conard.

She is survived by her children Vicky (nee Conard) Flint, Jack Conard, Angela (nee Lobertini) Trent, Carlos Gene Logsdon, and Neley Mae Logsdon and her 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

As per her wishes there will be no services but there will be a celebration of life later. Peggy will be laid to rest with her husband at Kendeigh Corners Cemetery.
