Ramon Rivera Jr., age 70, passed away on March 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, and a heart that knew no bounds. Born on August 8, 1955, Ramon was a man who defined himself through his service to others and his unwavering love for his family.

A true "jack-of-all-trades," Ramon had a passion for working on cars and spent his life helping friends, family, and neighbors with his talented hands. He enjoyed spending time at his Daughter’s salon until the time of his passing where he was a friend to everyone who walked through the door, touching countless lives with his unique sense of humor and helping hands.

Beyond his work, Ramon was a devoted animal lover with a special place in his heart for dogs. Above all, he was a "family man" in every sense—a loving father and a proud grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his family.

Ramon was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Rivera Sr. and Genoveva Rodriguez Rivera; his brothers, Carmelo Rivera and Eddie Rivera; and his beloved son, Nick Rivera.

His memory will be kept alive by his loving spouse, Maribel Rivera; his daughters, Rachel Yancey and Linda Beckstrom; and his 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Ramon’s life Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Ave., Lorain. A meal and fellowship will follow at Ebenezer Church, 1676 36th St., Lorain.
