Robert Lee Chandler Sr., age 82 and a resident of Lorain, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake.

He was born June 16, 1942, in Columbus to the late Leo and Elsie (nee Chapman) Chandler.  Robert retired from Ford Motor Company at the former Lorain Assembly Plant where he was employed for 33 years, retiring in 1995.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer hunting, reloading, gardening, and yard work.

Survivors include his son Robert L. Chandler Jr., daughters Brenda Zirkle and Crystal Sumner, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchild, brothers; John and Jeff Chandler, sister Diane Coovert, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette (2024), daughter Charlena Chandler (2021), brothers; Bill, Andy, and Richard, and sister Loretta Lowe.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, OH  44052.
