Dorinski

Rosalie Anne Dorinski (nee Tucker), age 86, of Lorain, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born on April 11, 1939, in Elyria, Ohio, and graduated from Clearview High School, Class of 1957.
She married her high school sweetheart, Eugene F. Dorinski, on July 20, 1957, raising their four children together in Sheffield Township. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse on November 24, 1969, and later a certified EMT serving with the Sheffield Township Fire Dept. She worked as a nurse at the former Lorain Community Hospital (aka Mercy Hospital), in nursing homes, and performed private duty nursing until she retired in 1999.
She enjoyed travelling, family, friends & her classmates. She was a huge fan of baseball and archery (earning several trophies of her own). She loved to roller skate and was an RSA Roller Skating Judge for Skate World in Lorain.
She is survived by her sisters Donna St. Clair (Thomas), Martha Fortney (Charles), Cheryl Johni (Christopher), MaryJo Barnett (Gary), brothers Joseph Tucker (Diane), Dennis Tucker, sister-in-laws JoEllen Tucker, Loretta Tucker, sons Eugene Dorinski Jr. (Jean), Paul Dorinski, daughter Roberta Webber-Carter (David), grandsons Eugene Dorinski III (Kristi), Kyle Webber (Brittnee), Taylor Webber, great grandchildren Nora Dorinski, Rex Webber, along with many nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Bernice (Rodak) Tucker, husband Eugene F. Dorinski Sr., son David Dorinski, granddaughter Erin Rae Webber; in-laws Frank (Harriet) Dorinski, brothers Fredrick Tucker (JoEllen), James Tucker (Loretta), daughter-in-law Jean Dorinski, brother-in-laws Charles Fortney, Gary Barnett, Phil Dorinski, Christopher Johni, nephew Michael Hall, and niece Jamie Fortney.
Family will receive friends Monday, February 23, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. time of funeral service at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Mark Telepak will officiate the service with interment following in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
