Sharren Helene Malie, a woman whose loyalty, love, and giving spirit touched all who knew her, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in North Ridgeville, OH, at the age of 78.

Born on November 27, 1946, to the late James and Pauline (nee Spitler) Mullaney, Sharren dedicated her early career to nurturing young minds as a pre-kindergarten teacher at Hillyer Children's Center. She also pursued her education at Youngstown State University, always valuing learning and growth. Sharren spent 25 years building a life in Howland, OH, before embracing the sunny warmth of The Villages, FL, where she resided for 20 years, creating cherished memories before returning to be near family in Ohio the final years of her life.

A woman of many passions, Sharren was a voracious reader, often found lost in the pages of a beloved book. She was also an avid knitter, finding joy and peace in the rhythm of her needles, and she truly loved crafting. Her compassionate heart extended to her community, where she generously volunteered her time with the Howland Athletic Club and Blessed Sacrament Church.

Sharren's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of many years, John Malie. Her loving legacy continues through her children, David Malie, and Jennifer Vitantonio and her husband Anthony. She was a cherished grandmother to Gina (Adam) Vincent, Nico (Angelica) Vitantonio, Amanda Malie, and Kaitlyn Malie. Sharren also leaves behind her dear siblings, Rob Mullaney, Jack Mullaney, and Kathy Bodary.

Sharren's unwavering loyalty, boundless love, and giving nature will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

At Sharren's request, no funeral or memorial services will be held.
