Sibyl Bailey, age 59, resident of Amherst, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family.

Sibyl took great delight in spending time with her grandchildren: Thea, Selena, Parker, Andrew, Logan, Julia, and Jacob. She loved creating lasting memories through camping trips and vacations with them. Her passions included bird watching and gardening, and she had a special affection for her two German Shepherds, Meka and Harlo. Sibyl also enjoyed hosting family gatherings, particularly during the festive holiday season.

Preceded in death by her brother Mark Loach and her parents, Harold Loach and Carolyn Sittinger.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Bailey; her son Chris Cagle and daughter-in-law Rebecca; step-sons Jeremy and Justin Bailey; and daughter-in-law Trish Bailey. Her siblings—Shawn Ramey, Christy Loach, Jennifer Orshoski, and Casey Loach—also remember her fondly.

Sibyl Bailey will be remembered for her caring nature and the happiness she spread to those around her. Her spirit and the treasured moments she shared with family and friends will remain in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Ave., Lorain, from 12 PM to 2 PM.
