Terrie Lee Carter (nee Stover) age 65, and a resident of Elyria passed away peacefully at home Thursday, April 16, 2025. Born on February 8, 1960, to the late Harold and Dolores Jean Stover (nee Macarato).

She attended Southview High School, Terrie was known for her vibrant spirit and love of life. She had a passion for shopping, coloring, and painting, which reflected her creative nature. Music was a significant part of her life, and she found joy in the melodies that accompanied her daily activities. Terrie cherished the great outdoors, often spending her time fishing and camping, where she made countless memories with her family. Above all, her greatest joy came from being with her loved ones.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clinton Carter, her sister Jackie, and her brother Shawn.

She is survived by her daughter Tamicka Fisher of Elyria and her son Lamar Fisher of Elyria, her grandchildren Destiny Fisher, Roy Lewis, Nisia Fisher, Sophia Fisher, Lamar Jr., Josophine Fisher, and Lamarion Fisher, her 2 great grandchildren, her sisters Sherrie and Lori, and her two fur-babies Mella and Tank.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness will be deeply missed.
