Valerie L. Carver, who was born December 13, 1958, died on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain.

Valerie has seven children; Michelle Click (Ray), Kerry Samples Jr., Kester Samples III (Stacy), Debra Stephens, Erica Watson, Kelly McPherson (Shannon), Alanna Carver (Anna), 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, siblings Randy Banbury (Linda), Darlene Enande (Vito), Tina Hendershot, and Donna Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Carver, her parents Helen and Edward "Paul" Banbury, brother Dennis Banbury, and sisters Debra Terrill and Patty Pugh.

Valerie was a homemaker who loved arts and crafts.  Although she was very ill, she lived in high spirits.  She was a family woman who loved her music. Valerie was an amazing person who will be truly missed and remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
