Vickie Ann DeWitt (nee Young) age 68 and a life resident of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Vickie was born July 8, 1955 in Buffalo, New York to the late James Young and Florence (nee Byrd) Oswalt.  She attended Southview High School and also completed college courses.  Vicki married her husband Terry Lee DeWitt on August 10, 1974 with whom she had two daughters.  Throughout her life she was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and reading.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years Terry L. DeWitt, their daughters Tina Harkless (James) of Lorain and Sherry DeWitt of Lorain, a granddaughter
Katie Harkless (Sam) of Lorain, her great granddaughter Lily, sisters Wanda Salva (Nick) and Sharon Moyer, both of Lorain, and her brother Tim Young of Lorain.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Don Moyer.

Vickie's family will have a Celebration of Life later this summer.
