Virginia Ann (nee Gordon) Frankito, 93 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at O'Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville, Ohio.

Born on July 31, 1933, in Savannah, Georgia, where she spent her childhood, she met Carl Joseph Frankito, the man she would marry, in 1952 while visiting Hunter Air Force Base.

She would spend the next 62 years calling him the love of her life. Ann worked as a beautician, loved to bowl, and you couldn't keep her away from a cruise in the Caribbean. She spent her spare time crafting, with ceramics as her favorite hobby. She took classes wherever she could find them and loved giving her ceramic creations as gifts to family and friends, getting together with her friends from Garden Club to play cards. 

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Carl. She leaves behind four children: Donna (Charles) Winter, Wanda (William) Frey, Michael Frankito, and Carla (Sandy) Stephens; her grandchildren: William (Mary) Bryson, Heather (Jason) Fordu, Tina (Jason) Trimmer, Melissa (Barrett) Principe, Bianca Griffin (Brian, deceased), Jesse Frankito, Alex Frankito, Carl (Lindsey) Frankito, Shelby (Rob) Stephens. They also had 14 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews that they adored.

A Memorial Service has not yet been determined.
