William "Bill" Arthur Ody, age 67, passed away on January 2, 2026, from a brief illness. He was born in Lorain, Ohio on March 20, 1958. He was a beloved father who loved building and fixing bikes and spending time with his family especially on the holidays.

He served in the Lorain National Guard for 19 years.

His survivors include his daughter, Melissa (Richard Jr.) Bryner, his sons Jeffrey Ody, and Brandon (Shamika) Ody and grandchildren Riana Bryner and Ana Hendricks.

Preceded in death by his lifelong wife of 46 years Georgina Ody, his brother Robert Ody, his sister RuthAnn Ody and His parents Dale and Jane Ody.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date by his family.
