William "Bill" Paul Bookmyer, age 70 and a resident of Sheffield Lake,
passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at The Woods of French Creek in Avon.

He was born June 13, 1952 in Bellevue to the late Thomas and Clara (nee
McVicker) Bookmyer. Bill was a 1970 graduate of South Amherst High School
and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a
former police officer for the City of Newport News, Virginia.

Survivors include his brother Thomas Bookmyer, sister Kathleen Gresko, two
sons, grandchildren, and three nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother Jack
Bookmyer.

There will be no services and arrangements were entrusted to the Andras
Crematory & Funeral Home, Lorain.
