Yolanda "Yo" Arthrell (nee Pulgine), age 96, and a resident of Lorain, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026.

She was born November 10, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, and a proud graduate of Lorain High School. A dedicated homemaker and entrepreneur, Mrs. Arthrell operated a beauty salon from her home throughout the 1960s and 1970s, where she brought joy and conversation to many in her community. Outside of work, she loved shopping, sewing, and testing her luck at the casinos.

She is survived by her devoted son, Lee M. Arthrell, and his wife, Nancy, of Westlake; and her three cherished grandchildren, Mark Arthrell of Bay Village, Eric Arthrell of Cleveland, and Scott Arthrell of Chicago.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Lee Arthrell, who passed away in 2017. She was also proceded by her parents, Camillo and Carmella (nee Amicon) Pulgine; her sisters, Virginia Kozlowski and Josephine Rastovski; and hr brothers, Anthony Pulgine and Michael Pulgine.
