Gwendolyn (Bailey) Keathley

Gwendolyn Keathley, age 82, of Elyria returned home to our Heavenly Father on October 31, 2023.

She was born April 4, 1941 in Delbarton, WV to Donald and Rosie Bailey (nee Prater).

Gwendolyn was a creative beautiful artistic woman who enjoyed crafting, sending letters and thoughtful gifts to her friends and family. Her greatest joy was her family. 

She was such a joy to have around and always brought a smile to our faces, no matter how we were feeling. She had a wonderful smile and laugh, and it was infectious and made everyone around her happy. 

Gwendolyn is survived by her daughter Pamela (Duane) Flowers of Elyria, her stepchildren Yolanda Abouelhana of Elyria, Max Keathley of Lorain, Donald Keathley of Elyria, her son-in-law Walter Dennison of Lorain, her grandchildren: Stephen Dennison, Helen Kay Dennison, Anthony Keathley, Nick (Delany) Keathley, Amber Flowers, Krysa Flowers, Brook Flowers, Brady Flowers, her step-grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, Alena and Jaxton. She is also survived by her sister Wanda (Norman) Hall of Michigan, and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Donald Keathley Sr. (2018), her daughter Tammy Dennison (2021),  her son Delmer Jody Keathley, (2022), her granddaughter Tara Abouelhana (2022), her four brothers and two sisters.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Prayers service officiated by Rev. Wallace Justice of Christian Life Church.Private family interment in Resthaven Memory Garden Cemetery, Avon.
