Johnny R. Escue Jr., passed away suddenly at home Friday, January 12, 2024, following a year long battle to recover from a devastating aneurysm and several strokes. The lord truly blessed us with this past year to spend with him before calling him home. He was a life long resident of Lorain County. He comes from a large close family.
Johnny was a loving and kind man. He enjoyed watching the Browns, fishing, and spending time with his family. The thing he loved most was being a wonderful dad, husband, son and brother. He graduated from Lorain Admiral King High School. Johnny was a very hard working man and put his heart into everything he did.
He was proceeded in death by, Madeline A Botts (Grandmother) Gilbert Mathew Beeman Sr (Grandfather), Raymond H Beeman and Russel J Beeman Sr (Uncles) He was survived by his wife Karen L Escue. and children Emily, Eleana, and Ericka, His parents Dianna L and Wayne A Thomas. His Sisters Leyanne (Gary) Metlicka, Vicky Vencill, Cheryl Escue, Brothers Robert (Melissa) Vencill and Brian L. Thomas A large family of Grandparents, Uncle, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at the funeral home. The family is having a celebration of life on Saturday January 20, 2024 at Beacon Babtist Church from 1pm-3pm, 3407 West Erie Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44053. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate the short but amazing time we had together with him. Please come casual and comfortable Johnny hated dressing up.
