Judith "Judy" D. (McMillin) Green

Judith "Judy" Dee Green (nee McMillin) passed away on Thursday October 26, 2023, at the age of 73. She was born on May 17, 1950, in Norwalk, to Durward and Fannie McMillin (nee Mentzer). She graduated from Lorain High School Class of 1968. She lived most of her life in the Lorain and Elyria area.

Judy worked at University Hospital Elyria for 39  years as a medical coder. She retired in 2019. She loved spending time with her family and many friends. She was loved by everyone who met her. She devoted her life to raising her children, known for her willingness to lend a hand to all. This is evidence of her selflessness and caring nature.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Joe) Green- Bohland of Avon Lake, grandchildren, Lynette Milia, Kristine Vanwinkle, Samantha Partin, Christopher Partin, Angela Partin and Arianna Green, 17 great-grandchildren, her brother, Robert (Becky) McMillin of Greenwich, and her sister, Shirley (David Sr.) Hardy of Rochester, NY.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard Green, her parents Durward and Fannie McMillin( nee Mentzer), her sister, Linda Hoff and brother-in-law David Hoff.

Judy's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, leaving behind a trail  of knowledge, kindness and love. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to all who were fortunate enough to share in her life’s journey. 

Per Judy's wishes,  there will not be a funeral . Private Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
