Richard Lee Quillen Sr.

Richard Lee Quillen Sr., age 57 and a resident of Lorain, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Mercy New life Hospice following a lengthy illness.

Richard was a one of a kind.  He enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar, camping, having cookouts and campfires with family and friends, fishing with his stepson Reed, and playing with his cat Ginger Kit Kat.

Richard is survived by his life companion Debra McCartney, daughters Richell Quillen and Heather Quillen (Kyle Connell), granddaughter Madilynn Connell, grandson Lucas Quillen, brothers; Michael Quillen Timmy Quillen, Shawn Quillen, sister Roberta Quillen, stepsons Reed Acs and Tyler Gogan, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his son Richard Lee Quillen II., granddaughter GraceLynn Connell, his parents James and Roxie Quillen, brother Billy Quillen Sr., and sister-in-law Donna McCartney.

Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 2-4 p.m.
